For your convenience, we’ve provided answers to some of our most-asked questions relating to customer service and orders. Shipping and Delivery Policy

What are your shipping rates??

We are excited to announce that Canada Post Canada Wide Shipping is a flat $10 for all orders.  We offer this to make the process of purchasing easier for our customers.  We also offer free pickup from our office for any orders if needed.  This is our way of saying thank you for shopping with us; we aim to take the hassle out of figuring out complex shipping.

If you need your order to travel to the United States or beyond, please contact us with a special inquiry about your item.

If you require even more specialized shipping, you may phone us directly and place the order.  We will weigh and measure your order and let you know what the shipping cost is.  Please note, we do not make money on shipping, and do our best to provide you with fast and affordable shipping at a consistent price.

Sometimes, shipping items across borders will incur duties, tariffs, or import taxes.  We do our best to minimize or eliminate these costs.  Despite this, it is likely that you may encounter these costs from your local customs.  Please be aware that you are responsible for any duties, tariffs or import taxes at the time of delivery.  These costs cannot be estimated or verified by us beforehand.  Please contact us if you have any further questions; it is our goal to be as transparent and accommodating as possible.

I just bought something from your site. How long will it take to arrive??

All orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours (in stock items only, check the item status on the product page) during the business week. Your order will be processed by the end of the business day, shipping will occur when our shipping partner is available.  Shipping times range from 1 to 7 business days, depending on your location and what shipping is selected.  Most parts of Alberta as well as other major cities in Canada get next day delivery. Keep in mind that weekends and holidays are not considered business days by Big Steam Oilfield Services, or our shipping partners.

Refunds and Returns

Can I cancel my order??

Please call or email us before placing an order if you have any questions. Because we ship either same day or next day based on the time of your order we are usually not able to cancel. We want you to love every item you buy from us, so if you have any questions, our professional and knowledgeable staff are happy to help via phone or email!

What is your return policy??

Thank you for shopping at Big Steam Oilfield Services. We take great pride in our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. It is important to us that you are ecstatic with your purchase.  We consider each item used once it leaves the warehouse. The original shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Offers are subject to adjustment due to returns, cancellations, and exchanges.  Because of the nature of these items, items cannot be returned due to normal wear and tear.  Items returned for this reason will not be refunded.  In the event that items are returned due to incorrect sizing, the item will be exchanged for the same item in the correct size.

If you received the item(s) as a gift, please keep all items in the original packaging if possible.  Indicate the order was a gift when speaking with us and we will be happy to exchange the item(s) for store credit or item(s) of equal or higher value.  In the event of higher value, you will be charged the difference.

What if my item is defective??

If your item is found to be defective within 30 days of purchase, please contact us. We will help get you a replacement. upon receipt once we can verify it is defective we will reimburse your shipping and send out a replacement. Because of the manufacturer’s policy, we are only able to replace, and not refund your purchase.


What are cookies??

Cookies are tasty comfort food.  We also use them to help guide you through our site.  It is assumed that by navigating this site, these cookies are accepted, as they ensure an easier and more user friendly experience when purchasing from us.

Why do you need my email address??

Your email address will be our primary method of communication with you.  Your receipt and any correspondence in the event of an unlikely issue will be handled via your email address.  We are able to offer future deals and coupons via this email.  In the event that you wish for no further communication, you may do this via our support email address.

What do you do with the information that you collect from me when I purchase a product??

All information gathered from your use of our site is kept secure and is NOT sold to 3rd parties.

How do you make sure my credit card information is secure??

We use SSL security (the same used by banks and other financial institutions) to protect your transaction.  This ensures that all banking and order information cannot be viewed online by other people.  You can look up at the top left corner of your browser window.  See that beside our website address?  That lock means the page you are on is secured.  Click on it if you like, it’s verified.  We feel safe by this, and we hope you do too.

Errors, Misprints, and Omissions?

Our goal is to provide current and accurate information on our website. Unfortunately, errors, misprints, and omissions can occur from time to time. These include but are not limited to incorrect or incomplete prices, descriptions, specifications, photographs or illustrations.  Big Steam Oilfield Services makes no warranty that the content of the website is accurate or complete.

Prior to shipment or delivery of any order, Big Steam Oilfield Services may cancel, reject, correct, or terminate any order for products, services, or insurance for which the price was incorrectly displayed or where we otherwise displayed erroneous, incomplete, or inaccurate information.  Big Steam Oilfield Services cancel, reject, correct or terminate at any stage of the order processing, including after an order has been submitted and confirmed, and your credit card or debit card has been charged or an electronic funds transfer has been sent or received. In the event your order is cancelled by Big Steam Oilfield Services after your credit card or debit card has already been charged, Big Steam Oilfield Services will immediately issue a credit to your payment card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank or credit union policies will determine when this amount is credited to your account.

Big Steam Oilfield Services is not obligated to complete any sell of products, services, or insurance based on errors, misprints, or omissions on our website.
